RENOVATION TYPE: Home renovation featuring five bathroom renovations, laundry room renovation, ship-lap feature walls, built-in-custom cabinetry throughout the home, and a sun room addition (featured in separate project spotlight)

MAIN CHALLENGES: This renovation primarily focused on aesthetic upgrades, enhancing functionality in the bathrooms, and implementing improved storage solutions throughout the house. Original home features were seamlessly integrated with fresh design elements, resulting in a cohesive and refreshing look throughout. A sun room addition was also added to increase living space.

RENOVATION COST: Including the sun room addition, renovation projects such as this can cost around $300,000 (not including interior design fees)

Before The Renovation

Scope of Work

DEMOLITION: Existing vanities and shower/tub surrounds were removed from the bathrooms. Fireplace surrounds in the basement and living space were also demolished. Additionally, cabinetry in the laundry room was taken out.

CABINETRY: Custom cabinetry was installed in the laundry room, office, and garage. Built-in cabinetry was crafted for the basement and main floor living space. In the bathrooms, new custom vanities with quartz countertops and backsplashes were added.

PLUMBING: Sink and shower faucets were replaced in all bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom received a new toilet, freestanding tub, and tub filler. Plumbing in the laundry room underwent reworking.

TILE: Wall tile was installed in two of the secondary bathrooms, while the en-suite shower received new floor tile.

CARPENTRY: Framing support was provided for the main floor and basement fireplace and television area. Decorative shiplap feature walls were incorporated into various rooms throughout the home.

HVAC: New gas fireplace inserts were installed for enhanced heating.

DOORWAY: A new front door was fitted in the entryway of the home, adding both functionality and curb appeal.
